Researchers at Gartner say BYOD (bring your own device) programs will prove to be the ‘most radical’ shift in enterprise client computing since the advent of the PC.   Further, because BYOD will be such a game change technology, Gartner recommends all enterprises should develop a clearly articulated position on BYOD -- even if companies don’t plan to allow it.
