Solace Systems, a provider of messaging middleware and content networking hardware, is partnering to bring SOA-based integration and real-time dashboards to its Unified Message Platform. Solace's newest partners are Adaptris (SOA-based adapters for middleware and application) and SL Corp. (for customizable real-time dashboards).

Solace's hardware-based UMP messaging products can gather data in real time without affecting performance. Many enterprises have multiple islands of middleware, along with hundreds of applications and databases that need to interact and share information, and operations managers need to monitor and access those activities, according to a Solace executive said.

"No technology exists in a vacuum; every customer environment has other commercial or home-grown middleware as well as business applications that need to be connected to their Solace backbone," said Shawn McAllister, chief architect, Solace Systems.

About Solace's Partners: Adaptris and SL Corp
Adaptris adapters and bridges will function as the 'on-ramps' from these applications, databases and other middleware to enable ubiquitous application connectivity and sharing of enterprise data assets across the enterprise, according to Solace.

"Working with customers to deliver highly performant, reliable and integrated solutions is all about making it simple to connect their new and their existing heterogeneous environments in a reliable way," said Jeff Bradshaw, CTO, at Adaptris.

SL Corp.'s RTView will let middleware and network operations teams using Solace to access, monitor, analyze and manage information in real-time across Solace integration infrastructure, executives for the two companies said. SL's RTView provides customizable dashboards, alerts and reports. Further, it lets network managers view, plot, analyze and respond to events in real-time that occur within their Solace and lets managers obtain data and compare it to real-time data for analyzing trends and planning capacity, the companies said.

"Monitoring and management are critical aspects of maintaining the competitive advantage that a hardware-based messaging infrastructure provides," said Shawn McAllister, chief architect at Solace Systems, in a statement. "SL's RTView is a highly effective means of keeping global deployments operating at peak efficiency, and will bring immediate value to our customers."
