MarketingSherpa and MarketingExperiments will host the 2008 Landing Page Optimization Workshop, where attendees will learn how to boost effectiveness of landing pages and increase online revenues. Attendees will also receive an individualized review of their landing pages.

The event will be held at the Doubletree Guest Suites in Santa Monica, Calif. on November 17 and 18

Here are some highlights of the event:

  • Optimization: Attendees will analyze and improve a key landing page from their ecommerce, subscription, or lead-gen paths and watch experts optimize landing pages of other attendees.
  • Learning: Attendees will learn a systematic methodology for optimizing all of their landing pages, review 13 case studies, such as how The New York Times increased sales conversions by 1,052%.
  • Achievement: Attendees will achieve professional certification in Landing Page Optimization from MarketingExperiments.com.Landing Page Review: Attendees will have their landing pages personally reviewed by optimization experts from MarketingExperiments, the companies said. The fee, which normally costs $4,250, is waived for workshop attendees.


  • A few weeks after the workshop, attendees will receive a video critique with commentary, screenshots, and recommendations from MarketingExperiments.

    At the LPO workshop in September, held in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, 40 students were certified as Landing Page Optimization Experts. Content and calliber of the experts of past eevnts was also praised by former attendees.
