IBM Develop New Partner Scheme SOA
IBM is developing a new Business Partner program in order to expand its support for best practices and skills in enterprise data centers.
Part of IBMs company-wide enterprise data strategy, the new scheme includes solution specialities with certification in technologies and practices that are central to a new enterprise data center.
The program will also see the development of a new Service-oriented Architecture (SOA) sector.
Meanwhile, IBMs new Business Partners will be able to perform client assessments in crucial areas to develop new enterprise data centers.
Kirk Zaranti, senior vice president of sales at Logicalis – an IBM partner, said: "Our customers are faced with many challenges such as revenue growth, cost reduction, skill shortages and risk management.
"The new enterprise data center certifications will allow partners with exceptional skills in the areas of consolidation, virtualization, energy efficiency and business resiliency to address the challenges customers face in their business.
Recently, IBM launched a new platform designed to "liberate" business content from Microsoft Sharepoint. The IBM Lotus Quickr Content Integrator allows businesses to access and share the most important information as quickly as possible.
